Voice Acting

So glad you could make it to this corner of my site!

Voice-acting and I were always going to find each other. I gravitated toward it naturally after years in performance poetry. Since 2018, I've voiced commercials, documentaries, and animation, working across both English and Swahili.

My accent reads as neutral - international or Pan-African English, if you want a label for it. My range suits everything from soothing narration, to fun and quirky, to bold and authoritative.

Proudest of: voicing the doctor in Mozizi, an animated film from Kijiweni Productions that went on to win the Best African Short Film award at the 2021 Zanzibar International Film Festival.
